CAN PAIN CAUSE EROTIC PLEASURE?

The more it hurts, the better it feels

Okay, so I have once witnessed a guy getting kicked in the nuts repeatedly with such force and dedication that he began vomiting blood after several minutes. It was according to his own will and the one smashing his balls was a whore, wearing high heels. It was obvious that he was suffering, yet he just stood there and patiently (eagerly?) waiting for the next blow.

I have to say, my own balls were starting to resonate with his. I am talking about that ball brotherhood, where one’s testicle smashing sends waves of pain to another pair of testicles, belonging to a guy who is just watching. You know what I am talking about. Ball brotherhood. Which means I could not look at his cavalry and moved on after he started puking blood.

One question remained, though – Why? Why and how would anyone enjoy having his balls sent into oblivion? Those are some sensitive fuckers, you don’t just kick them with your whoring high heels. I can understand minor levels of pain, like those coming from slapping in the face or over the ass cheeks and such. But ball kicking? That is a no go, man. That is taboo.

Yet, some people are doing it. And “why” remains a legitimate question.

What is pain?

Pain is a sensitive response. It is recorded by the brain after being transmitted throughout the nervous system and the brain decides to send pain signals in the affected area. As unpleasant as it may be, pain can save your life. Some people suffer from a condition called congenital analgesia. In their case, the brain does not send these signals and, as a result, they feel no pain, no matter how serious the wound is.

You might think that is the perfect affection to have, yet it is an extremely dangerous condition, because it prevents you from taking measures when wounds occur. Some even suffer broken bones or eye damage from things flying into their eyeballs and are unaware of what happened. They continue to function normally, causing the wounds to worsen pretty fast.

So pain is there to let you know that physical problems have occurred and that you need to take measures. However, there is an interesting fact about pain. Along with the pain signals, the brain also starts producing endorphins. These are hormones meant to cause a pleasure sensation, so that the pain would be more tolerable. Depending on the seriousness of the wound, the endorphin levels can grow accordingly. Those who have had their limbs severed during gruesome accidents reported no pain whatsoever, just a slight feeling of numbness.

And then there is another interesting aspect we need to mention. Since physical pain is something that can be easily inflicted in a human being and you can quickly reach and go beyond the acceptable pain threshold, it has been adopted as an interrogation technique on many occasions over the course of history, as well as a punishment.

Yes, I am referring to torture. Now there is an interesting aspect linked to torture that I needed to mention. It was found out that some of those being tortured, although the methods used were incredibly savage and excruciatingly painful, also entered in a state of arousal. Many of them had erections and some even died with one, while hanged, for instance.

It was a peculiar aspect and it undoubtedly came from the high levels of endorphins being released by the brain.

And then pleasure kicks in

Yes, at weird as it may seem, pleasure can actually increase with the levels of pain. In some, that is. Not everybody gets stimulated by pain, but those who do, find it hard to become aroused otherwise. As a matter of fact, there are some people who have become numb to regular arousal techniques. If pain is not part of the process, they are unable to perform.

In their case, endorphins have caused a nervous dependence. Because this is how drugs work in the first place. They stimulate the brain by making it to produce more endorphins and as the brain gets used to the levels it produces, higher doses of drugs are required, in order to stimulate the production of even more endorphins.

Then, without knowing OD occurs. The same goes for pain. Not only that the pain addict needs to increase the intensity over time, but he also needs to find new and creative ways to induce it, so that the body does not get used to it so soon. Take the Testicle Guy we were talking in the introduction of the article.

What he was doing there was probably among the last levels. He was probably coming from whipping or hook piercing and that was like his final solution in order to get a bit more endorphin into the system. With the expenses of his jewels.

So where does this leave us?

If you are into this kind of stuff, I do not have many advices to give you, other than be careful not to fuck yourself up too bad. That is a good advice, right here. For everyone else who is not into this fetish, I say give it a shot, if you have not already. You never know how you can discover things you had no idea you liked.

Like choking for instance. Choking is also exciting and it has been determined that air deprivation can actually cause arousal in some people. Especially those who hang themselves or helped by others, like I have already mentioned. So why not try it and see where that leads? Pain, not hanging, because we all know where hanging leads.

But regarding pain, some have discovered that it even boosted their orgasms, as long as certain barriers are not being surpassed. But as long as decency is considered, low to moderate levels of pain may actually improve your sex life considerably. Give it a go and see where that leads!
